Desiree “Momma” Steele
“Elevated Kitchen” Columnist
Desiree “Momma” Steele is the mastermind behind the Elevated Kitchen brand, a storyteller through photography, writing, and food. Momma Steele's Elevated Kitchen is where curiosity, creativity, and bold flavors come together. Around here, there's always good music, a little dancing, and someone being handed a spoon to taste what's simmering on the stove. Every recipe tells a story, and everyone is welcome at her table. @desireesteele.art
Avery Bradt
“Where to Drop In” Columnist
Avery is our designer who got tired of watching single people get reduced to a swipe, so she built the antidote. Through her studio, Blue Bird Studios, she's spent years helping purpose-driven brands tell better stories. Drop In Dating is the one she built for her community: less algorithm, more magic, small crews, real venues, for low-pressure dates. The “Where to Drop In” column is her love letter to our city, one amazing spot at a time. Off the clock, she's usually chasing a good live set somewhere in town. When she's not scouting the next venue, she's out here proving that dating is better with backup. @dropindating
